Bissli Extreme - Osem
The Concept
Bissli Extreme is crunchier than the original Bissli snack. You can probably find someone eating it just by listening to the crunch sound it makes. That's why we created a special hide and seek game for Bissli using audio - roam the streets of Google street-view and find Bissli Extreme packs. The louder the crunch sound, the closer you are.
The Technicalities
We tackled two main challenges on this project. One was to embed the Bissli packs onto the Google Street View platform. The second was to implement an audio mechanism that responds according to the location on the map. To resolve those issues, we chose to use HTML 5 Audio and CSS3, which allowed us to create the best experience for the user.
The Bottom Line
What is this sound? It is the sound of Bissli crunches heard from thousands of speakers across the country. Bissli lovers played the game over and over again, with an average of # minutes per game.
