Nokia Lumia

Client: Le'omek Ha'todaa
Technology: Flash, remote control web console

THE CONCEPT

In early 2013, Nokia launched a new series of smartphones, under the brand name 'Lumia'. In order to introduce the new smartphone, we have created an interactive web-application, which allowed the visitors to learn about the product and explore it in depth.

THE TECHNICALITIES

The website was built using Flash technology. All the graphics are based on static images, to which we added animations and transaction effects to transform it into a lively presentation. To add to the "WOW" factor, we have also introduced a new remote control feature for this activity: By scanning a QR code, the user’s smartphone has turned into a wireless remote control. This feature enabled the user to navigate through the website on his PC, using his smartphone as a wireless remote control.

THE BOTTOM LINE

The overall result was a lively, eye-captivating interactive presentation, which reflected the same qualities and attributes as the Lumia device itself – innovative, fun, neatly designed, with an extraordinary UX. The remote control feature we used in this activity is one of our personal favorites, and we hope to include it again in one of our future projects.
